 Actually...you are catching me on a good day....which translates into "there's not much clutter to be seen at the present moment....but wait....wait...wait for it....

 

is that some clutter I see starting to accumulate in my workspace??  Uh....no...if I let this go....it will really get to be a mess and then I won't be able to function.  So I went to Kalunga an office supply store and bought.......

Now paperwork....just try to get out of control....I dare you!!!

Tomorrow.....cleaning and reorganizing the office.

I know....I lead such an exciting life.

 

what's on my desk....

As you can see my desk is a mess.....but that's ok because today I was in the middle of a couple of projects.  First I was finishing up the new English lesson books I put together for our classes out in Ilha Bela and Vila Esperança.  I'm quite proud of them and I think I'm improving with each new set of books. 

Second, I took time to just mess around and make some thing.....I so needed to do this.  So you can see one of the pages I completed today.  What you don't see is the back side of the page...it's completely different and I will share it soon.....along with the new English lesson book.

I must say it was good to spend time creating today....now I feel ready to get back to the Bible study I'm working on for Friday night's meeting with Debora and Rosane.  It has been progressing quite well and they are expressing interest in working on a passage of their own choosing....so I'm excited.

I had planned to do a "what's on my desk" post last week but was simply too embarrassed for  you all to see my very messy and cluttered work area.  You are lucky because I just cleaned it all up yesterday....trust me it doesn't always look like this.

What does your desk look like??  Organized or cluttered?  Or some thing in between?

What's on my desk......

I've been reading some of my favorite blogs and trying to get some ideas of what I could do over here at  mine.  Granted the majority of the blogs I read are art and scrapbook based....but I think you can always get great ideas from others.  So here is an attempt at doing some thing different.  Yes...it's always good to give you all a first hand account of the ministry and what is going on here but there comes a time when my posts need to be light and fun.  So I'm currently trying to think up some regular "features" I can do maybe on a weekly or monthly basis.  One of blogs I read on a consistent basis once did a post on what was in her purse at the moment....I thought I would adapt the idea to "what's on my desk."  It's different....it gives a view of what I'm looking at right now....and you kind of get an idea of any projects I might be working on.  So here it is....."what's on my desk."
